909RPDA
Reduced Pressure Detector Assembly Backflow Preventers with Flood Sensor, Cast Iron, 2 1/2 - 10 IN Sizes
Series 909RPDA Reduced Pressure Detector assembly backflow preventers feature a flood sensor using SentryPlus Alert® technology to detect continuous discharge from the relief valve. When paired with an add on connection kit, the sensor is activated to relay alerts for potential flooding events. Connection kit options include BMS, cellular communication, and the Sensor Control Monitor which enables integration with BAS via RS-485 Modbus or the Nexa® platform through Wi-Fi.
This series prevents the reverse flow of contaminated water caused by backsiphonage or backpressure from entering the potable water supply. The 909RPDA incorporates a meter to detect ground leaks and unauthorized illegal taps, greatly reducing annual water expenses. It consists of a coated cast iron body with stainless steel trim, cast iron gate valves, a pressure-differential relief valve, shutoff valves, and bronze ball-type test cocks. Maximum working pressure is 175 psi (12.06 bar).
