SentryPlus Alert® Technology Connection Kits for Wye and Duplex Basket Smart Strainers
SentryPlus Alert® technology delivers advanced detection and notification capabilities for select wye and duplex strainers. These models incorporate dual pressure sensors that continuously track pressure drop, signaling when the strainer screen becomes obstructed by debris.
When paired with the Sensor Control Monitor connection kit, the Smart Strainer provides real‑time data by RS‑485 Modbus for integration with building automation systems (BAS) or through Wi‑Fi to the Nexa® platform. The system automatically issues alerts when maintenance is needed, such as when differential pressure surpasses a preset threshold.
A dedicated control power output port supports auxiliary components, including motorized ball valves for automatic flushing in wye strainer configurations. This technology can also be used to upgrade existing strainer installations to a Smart Strainer configuration, provided there are pre-existing gauge taps for pressure sensing.
